4runner TRD Pro

No they do not. You'll need a 3rd party system; headrest DVD players, or the Prestigious society link I added above, you can hook up a free standing unit, or just scrap the Entune and buy an aftermarket HU. But by the time you add in the money for all the adapters for the steering wheel ctrls, and various things, not to mention a new faceplate and having it painted (if its a TRD-P) it may be just cheaper to buy the harnesses.

yea - looks legit on the harness. I think I'll try this. Easy install? Plug and play?

Good lord that's a lot of money for a 4runner with special emblems.:target:

Yes I feel like a dumbass paying sticker for a trd pro 4Runner considering the heavy discounts on so many new vehicles right now.

I could maybe get lucky and find a local dealer with a unclaimed TRD pro 4 runner just sitting on the lot.

But there are other dumbasses like me who are also willing to overpay.

So good luck with that.

Absolutely!

It took me more time to get the harnesses secured behind the dash, and to button up the dash then it did to plug in both units. You can't mess it up, they just daisy chain together. The only modification was I had to dremel a small u shaped relief in one of the side panels on the dash for the back up camera dongle. I had a post about it. I'll see if I can locate it, detailing the install.

Hey guys. Newb here, working on a 2017 TRD Pro in White. Coming from a '12 JGC. I'll probably miss the hemi for a while...

Current dealer allocation is a Cement. He says he's preferenced a White one and usually receives two allocations a month.

First time buying Toyota and I haven't ordered before, so I'm not sure what to expect with allocations vs preferenced.

Dealer has yet to take my deposit, and said he wouldn't until around the first of the year. Is this all normal behavior?

Thanks all, looking forward to participating in the forum and learning all about this new ride.

Anyone have any idea then 17's are expected in dealerships?

I ordered a 16 in July, gave the dealer my deposit and they told me that Toyota Japan had accepted the build order. When I hadn't heard anything by October, I called the dealer and they contacted the regional buyer. The regional buyer said that it showed the TRD's were currently being built. The dealer is now saying that mine will be a 17, even though I spec'd a 16.

My dealer has been pretty unhelpful.

You may be the only person skipping on the Cement right now; at least based on all of us looking for Cement TRDP's. :gossip:
I like the white as well, though have that as a second choice in the event my dealer can't get a hold of a Cement. Figured I might as well try getting a special color first and I like them both equally. The Barcelona Red on the other hand, I am not a fan of:barf: I did see one photo shot of this color and it didn't look bad, just not a big fan of red. Wish they would have kept the MGM or added silver, those would have been agreeable to my taste.

I looked at a Tacoma in Cement in person and while I like the color, I know I wouldn't like it for 5-7 years. Wife liked it too, but White won out as something we'd like over the long term better. When the cement comes in, I'll go have a look just to final confirm the decision.

I have no clue - The dealer i just put my $500 down at (I want white as well) said they dont when they will get it...but the second they get their allocation, I should expect about 3 months until delivery. I hope this thing comes while there is still some snowboarding to be had.

Anybody here know when the first 16s started hitting dealerships?
