TRD Pro - Pickup Tonight

Picking up the new Cement TRD Pro tonight. Just ordered a Gobi stealth rack and Shrockwork sliders. Should have the add-ons in about 2 to 3 months. Should be a very nice ride when all completed.

I have a question for you guys. I have a deposit down on a cement gray but have concerns about the tint levels. I'm moving to Oman and the law limits tint levels to 30%. Can anyone provide the exact tint levels on the passenger windows and back windows?

Thanks, also, how hard would it be to remove the tint if it is too dark, etc.

Its incredible that where you live has so much to do with how easy it is to get a Trd Pro. I'm happy that you were able to get your pro after a 2 month wait.

I have had my order in place for over a year now and still don't seem to be any closer.

Ahh, the one downside to living in southern california.

I asked a member on here that owns a Quicksand and they said it was 20% to match the back windows. Hope that helps.

oh and removal is not difficult for aftermarket...not sure about factory

I have 30% tint on mine. The rear is privacy glass which can't be changed anyways.

that looks like an exact match to the rears. how is it from the inside?

When I had my front tinted, the installer said the back metered out at 23%. They put 25% up front, and it looks pretty close.

Tried them - thank you. They want a lot - looking like 1100-1200 for shipping covered and insured. Same in your experience? I was hoping for around 800....

I believe I paid close to $900? and that was to have the car shipped enclosed from Massachusetts.

Its fine. I've had 30% tint on all my vehicle for almost the past 20 years.

Waiting on my Cement, Post some pics when you get it.

Here are a few pictures. Will post more tomorrow when it is sunny. One thing I noticed about the interior that is different, the center console area around the cup holders is carbon fiber patterned versus solid black as in my 2016 TRD Pro. Looks cool.

My 15 year old son will be getting my 2016 TRD Pro. He is spoiled I know....

Head rests are just like my 2016, except now they have TRD Pro stitched into them. I guess the subtle change is good.

So what options do you guys recommend getting on a TRD Pro?

I put a deposit down tonight for a 2017 and I just went with floor mats and the exhaust tip.

Clear "ghost shield" or whatever Toyota is calling it. +1 on the weathertechs, the Toyota all weathers are almost worthless

Head rests are just like my 2016, except now they have TRD Pro stitched into them. I guess the subtle change is good.

I thought it was just TRD stitched on them?
