4runner TRD Pro

You can ask the dealer to not install the bracket. I requested it and they didn't put it on. However, the bumper does have two small dimples (visible from ~6' away) to help them align it.

Speaking of the front license plate bracket... The 2015 TRDP that we just bought doesn't have the front bracket and my wife would like one. Is this a TRDP-specific bracket, or will one for a regular 4R work?

Haha yeah finally but I still have a few more weeks before seeing it.. It's currently sitting in Wyoming. The most untraveled road for transport companies lol.

ah damn. Thought you had it already. My transport driver called me earlier today. He said he is going to try and charge it all night and be at my house by around 10 am tomorrow... hoping he has enough Red Bulls and meth to pull it off :)

Speaking of that... how much do people tip a transport driver? $50?

Wish me luck...

Not specific.

A friend of mine thought used trd pro prices are crazy and asked a good question. Why doesn't toyota make more trd pros than they currently do?

I'd be surprised if it weren't a single bracket for all 4Runners.

I thought I read somewhere that they were bumping up production from 500/year last year to 1500/year this year.

Toyota site says 3,000 and then you gotta figure the colors make it 1,000 each and then how many actually to to the us. Why dont they just make tens of thousands of them?

I think Toyota just likes seeing us scrambling around for their products ;):

They keep production low to keep the demand high. It's great marketing for them. It's also great for us owners as they do and will hold their value better than almost any vehicle on the road.

Lucky Find...Happy Owner

Sold the 02 4Runner Sport and found a 17 TRD PRO last weekend. Withdrew a deposit with my own local dealership and bought this on the spot. Took a decent test drive, came back, and made the buy.

It seems like the demand has gone way up on these. I didn't have any trouble grabbing my Mag Grey TRDP last April. A local dealer had a Quicksand, so I test drove it, decided I wanted it, but it had to be Mag Grey. They traded with another dealer 30 miles away, and I had mine in two days.

I did a quick search of my area, and came up with one white and a bunch of reds, using cars.com. I just checked the dealership website of the white, and it's listed AT A DISCOUNT! $40,822. I have no idea if it's available, but I figured I'd let you all know.

To think last year I just happened to walk into my local dealership and they had the quicksand one sitting on the back lot, and the other dealership 30 miles away also had a quicksand available.

I'm starting to hunt for a 17 TRD Pro in Cement. Should I expect to pay around $42-45, or are they going to be marked up if they can be found at all?

Base is $43,400. I have seen very few for under MSRP. You should expect to pay MSRP for one. You dont have to pay over MSRP, plenty around for sticker. If you want red, I've seen discounts for plenty of those and a few whites but never a discount on a cement.

I think you should be able to find a dealer who will sell at MSRP, especially here in the NE. I was able to get mine a few bucks under from my dealer, but every other dealer I talked to said they could get me one for MSRP with no problem.

i found a few around me with a $500 dollars deposit down.. most of them has cement but i want an white one.. whats everyone paying for one?
