After calling 100+ dealerships, I've finally found a TRD Pro Cement! Deposit is in and vehicle is on it's way to the dealership in 2 weeks. The previous buyer backed out today after waiting months for it. Flying out from SFO to AZ to pickup!

Alright peeps! Good news for anyone looking for a TRD Pro Cement at MSRP. Im expecting to take delivery on mine Mid April.

With this said, I have a deposit with another dealership in NV at MSRP. Wait time is 2-3 months quite possibly sooner. There's only one person ahead of me. Killer deal for anyone in CA or NV.

If you're interested, shot me a PM and I'll work with the dealership to move the deposit to you.

Need someone that's really serious about moving forward with this as I want to make sure the original sales guy gets his commission.

Thx!!

Do the respectable thing and withdraw so the next person in line can move up. Pretty crappy deal to try and work someone in on top of them like that especially if the wait time is that long.

Carson City? If so there are several people pulling thier deposits soon. Dealership told me if a deposit is withdrawn no handing over the spot... same person did however tell me I was first in line and then later told me I was fourth.

Hoping a California dealer has some very good news for me on Friday...

Yes...after dealing with all these dealerships I've come to realize that there's a ton of inconsistencies as far as what the truth is. Though I had that initial deposit down, I still felt that I needed to put the work in to find the vehicle.

My intent on posting this was to pay the luck forward to the members of this forum as I found a ton of good info on how to find mine.

Good luck! I hope you get the good news Friday!

can anyone answer my question? I put a deposit on a cement trd 4runner in December and was told maybe Jan or Feb. I started putting pressure on them as I didn't have a car yet and I believe they made a dealer trade or something to get me one because they called me today saying they have it. I am in Spain at the moment working, but I had my girlfriend go and look at it and it is fully loaded with options that I didn't want. Remote start and side rails being the main ones, are they able to take these off at the dealership?

Scotsman I don't believe they will remove those options. If it's just remote start and rail you are lucky. I got stuck with the remote start and all weather liners. I was told I could take it or leave it because there were four others lined up for it. You could remove and sell the side rails. Not that big of a deal. The remote start seems to work okay except for shutting the truck off when you unlock the door. Good luck. The truck is worth the wait.

Some options they can take off at the dealership (crossbars, cargo cover, cargo organizer etc). Some they can't (sliding cargo tray). I'm not sure on the remote start.

That said, it's the dealership's decision to take them off. It's their right to refuse to take off these options, let you out of the truck, and sell it to someone else. My dealer forced a couple options on me that I didn't want (crossbars and TRD exhaust tip) total was a couple hundred bucks and they wouldn't remove them. I took it anyway, and I'm still happy about getting my TRDP.

yea I'm going Saturday to purchase and will see if they budge any. The steps are a pain because I got in on the C4 sliders group buy and so don't need them!

I was planning on buying C4 steps but the ones I got from the dealership aren't too bad. I think you would have no problem recouping the money on either set.

I was able to order and reveive my 4runner with zero options. My window sticker shows only the msrp of the truck and the delivery fee. I feel lucky dealer didn't force any un-wanted options on me during the ordering process, based on what others are saying here.

Would these work? https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyo...s/front-top-plate-spacer-kit/#reviews_summary

I didn't feel any rubbing really making any turns. The full lock will bother me, so I will need to get that fixed.

edit: Was quoted $600 for labor to do that. Yuck. I am reconsidering the Spidertrax spacers.

Pushing wheels and tires out away from the spindle makes the likelihood of rubbing greater. Also, if you plan on going off road any at all with your 4Runner then lifting will not help. Why? Because the suspension off road will go through the full range of articulation, and that full range includes what is stock height now. So, if you lift it to get rid of your rub, you will rub when you start pushing it off road. If you are a mall queen, then lifting it to get rid of the rub is fine. Otherwise, if you want to leave those spacers on you are going to have to move, cut or both. Also, if you get rid of the spacers then your wheel bearings will thank you... every failure documented so far on this forum of the wheel bearings involved spacers or higher offset wheels .

Thinking a heat gun could work; my plan of attack is to heat gun the plastic moldings just enough to remold and let there be no rub. I think there's some area to be cut in front of the tire, but I'll let that be step 2.

I wouldn't count on them taking the options off.. Most dealers are going to tell you to take it as is, because if you don't... someone definitely will. If you have a decent enough salesman then they MAY remove some options for you, but it seems to be the consensus on here that you take what you get when you FINALLY are able to get your hands on one. there is always someone right behind you that will take it if you don't! Enjoy!

To anyone and everyone, when did your salesman notify you that it was on its way, being built, or whatever else? I know some of you guys had salesmen that didn't know till like a week before, but I'm trying to time it where I can sell my vehicle rather than trading it in
