4runner TRD Pro

Was this by chance on a ship May 29 with a port date of June 9? That the last update I heard on mine and it's been total silence since I was told the computer wasn't updated on June 9 to show it in

Mine left port on 5/20 and arrived at Long Beach on 6/2. It was scheduled to leave LB on 6/7 but it's still there, apparently in Customs.

Happy Fathers Day, First Off Road Excursion today with my Boys.

Yeah, but what's your alternative to get one that doesn't require shipping? Nor Cal dealers are better than So Cal dealers when it comes to mark-ups, but it seems unlikely to find one locally.

Before tax/registration, my Cement TRD Pro is $44,749 after MSRP, dealer fees, and shipping. Shipping from Iowa to California is $950. Considering the market for a Cement Pro right now, I'd say that's not bad at all. I think the key would be to find a vehicle with limited options. The price of just a few options that you may not want/need are near the cost of shipping (sliding cargo deck, remote start, etc.).

If you can find a Cement Pro for $500 under MSRP (even if you have to pay for shipping) and you don't jump on it ASAP, you likely won't ever end up with one unless you get very lucky.

What dealership in Iowa? I got my 15 Pro from Iowa a couple years ago.

I ordered my Cement Pro in March and my dealer has told me I'll have it by the end of this month. He still doesn't have a VIN number for me though. Is this typical? I thought they could access the VIN very early in the build process and I want to get started on my insurance if I'm going to have it within the next two weeks.

You should get the VIN when it's at the port. Then depending on how busy customs is or whatever it'll have to wait through that. Mines been waiting to go through for a week and a half now..

That is odd you don't have a VIN for your car yet. When you get it your dealer should be able to look up where it is at on Dealer Daily.

At this point, the dealer should be able to get the "V-Spec" document that has the VIN, MSRP, and vehicle specs/options.

V-Spec document might not have it. I looked at V-Spec of 6 TRD PRO's and none of them have it. I guess it depends on where in the build process it is. However, they should be able to provide you the VIN # once the vehicle is built. Dont stress, you can add the vehicle to your existing insurance policy in few minutes if you do it online. In the meantime decide on deductibles, coverage range, etc.

That doesn't sound right... mine was on that same boat and left days later. Maybe call another dealer to check up on the VIN.

My salesman checks on the car and sees where's it's at, sends me screenshots and says it's scheduled to arrive 23rd-28th. From what he can find out the car got singled out for further inspections. Another person from the dealer calls me last week and tells me it will be here in the 19th (today). Obviously not here today, I call her back and she tells me 23rd-27th which is what my salesman has been telling me all along. They're beginning to piss me off....

Anyone know if you can run the spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers on stock wheel and suspension without rubbing, or do you need to lift the front?

Thanks to everyone for the feedback and advice on what to do with my incorrectly set drivers side coil seat. Dealer adjusted and aligned today under warranty.

Out of curiosity, if the TRD Pro suspension is installed at the port, at what point are TRD Pros aligned? At the dealer? I am not aware if new cars are normally aligned at the factory or dealer.
