I think the only thing I saw close to it is you can customize to have all the doors open when you actually opening the driver's door..

I believe that's from the inside after turning the ignition off....not as in walking up to the vehicle, one-button unlock then opening the driver's door.

or that i cant remember , I will have to look at the manual again. But I hope there is a way to unlock all the doors with just one click ( I have kids :) ) :ballchain:

I have kids too that’s why I wanted that option changed right after our first family outing lol

Nope. I just really want it changed cause it’s annoying.

so I did find in the manual that says you can customize so that when you opening the driver door ( by handle ) it will unlock other doors. Just wish that you can do the same with a remote... :redbrick:

Tint % recommendation

and on the other subject.. what % tint do you guys recommend for the front windows to perfectly match the rears ? Apparently the rear stock tint is around 25-28%. At first I was thinking 20% but then little afraid that it might be little darker than the rears. So what you guys recommend - 20,30,35?

I went 35%. It’s definitely not as dark as the back windows but that’s the way I wanted it. I thought it would look funny having the fronts darker than the passenger and rear. I think you could go 30% and be ok if that’s your goal too.

35% 3M Color Stable is pretty close. The hue of the tint isn't a perfect match but it's close enough that you won't notice the difference unless you look for it.

Thanks! Seems like nobody in my area have 3M, mostly Suntek and other stuff. Im thinking to go with 30% and not 35%. That way it will match closer to stock tint in the back if its 20-28%. Anyone have picture of 30% on the front and stock back?

If you're near any CA metro area finding tint shop with 3M should be easy.

Just a word of caution...

Last time I did tint I looked for 3M shops, many advertise it, but they often times try and sell you something else after you get there.

As soon as I asked what color matches better with the factory tint they move away from 3M Color Stable tint to something else so they can increase their margins.

3M makes a good product, but if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. 3M film isn't cheap, especially their Crystalline series which is the competition for Solar Guard.

Found a shop with 3M. They also have 3M FX Premium 30 and it might be little darker but color is different, (maybe more on the greenish side) . So its between FX and CS now, will have to go compare the two.

I did 20% on the front and 35% on all rear windows and think its about as good as its going to get. My tint guy said the rears glass has pigment in it making it hard to match. Don't think its too dark either.

Sorry don't know how to insert it into the post.

Thanks ! it looks good but in California that's really asking for it :) :director:
Im leaning towards 3M FX Premium 25%. Hopefully will turn out ok. Will post it here later.

I just had mine done with Llumar Ceramic 30% and the light transmission is nearly spot on with the rears. Hue is still a bit off. Photo is about as noticeable as it gets though so it works for me.

Just thought I'd share.
