I’ll be the odd man here and say I don’t hate it. At a +/- premium of 2 grand over an ORP, it doesn’t seem as overpriced as the XP appearance package we get here in the southeast.

Agreed. It's a trim option, one that didn't exist last year. What's to hate?
 
Love it or hate it but it is the most practical oem roof rack system on the 4r at any trim level. It would also fit the needs for 90+% of buyers. Oh, and it won't flip your truck over lol.

You're paying for the rims plus the basket. I say, call it the Basket Special Edition. It's a nice look. But what the hell do I know? I bought the Nighshade Special Edition. Pay no attention...

Those wheels that they were using on the XP package, before the TRD rims became the norm, were uglier than that Yakima rack.

Don't think it would fit in my garage as tall as that thing is.

and even if it did, I wouldn't have to worry about it because I wouldn't buy it with that rack... Should have gone with at least a Rhino Rack basket over that Yakima garbage.

According to the videos I've watched it also comes w/ the Fox interal bypass shocks set up. Check the TFL YT channel where a toyota rep indicates as much....

Don't get me wrong, it's not my cup of tea, but it's not just appearance either.

I personally like it due to the fact that it has the Trd pro fox suspension without crazy markups.

It doesn't include Fox suspension. If you look at the photos of the suspension, it's standard TRD Off Road/SR5 suspension.

Settle down pal, no one suggested they dont like America or Freedom or whatever else you're hyperventilating about... He just suggested that that decal is cliche in the 4runner community. Which it is, along with the fake TRD grill, yellow fog light decals, etc.

Yeah you would hope the toyota sales rep would know what he is talking about. As others mentioned looked like he was hungover so maybe that is his excuse. :pound:

Hah i have the lamin-x fogs but dammit a real Pro grille so i guess it evens out?

Coming from someone who probably hasn't served anything other than themselves... or maybe just a fast-food cheeseburger...

My sincerest apologies that "cliches" of patriotism, pride of country, and honorable service have so annoyed you and other snowflakes...

You internet "heroes" are why I typically don't engage in forums often. I guess I'll leave it there...
