Hey guys! I'm new in this 4runner world, and so far, I'm loving it.

So, my mom's friend just sold me a 4runner with an LT1 in it. This thing roars! I was just wondering if there are other people out there with this setup. Also, this thing has a sound system that almost drains the battery when the car is not on, so I wanted to know if any of you can help me out with installing a dual battery system.

I'll be posting pics soon.

Wow thats alot of axle breaking torque! iv got an LT1 in my 93 formula. is the rest of the drive train stock?auto or stick? :biggrin2: be carfull of that optispark it sits right behind the waterpump DO NOT GET IT WET. it will be the end.

Thanks toy4. Btw, I've had the car for a day, and after having some people telling me it's an LT1, I did some research and found out that it isn't an LT1 because mine is a Tuned Port Injection making it probably an L89. I'm still doing more research on it. As soon as I get a chance, I will post pics.

There was the LT1 made in the early 70's and the LT1 Made
from 92-97 two different motors, the later ones had reverse cooling, alluminum heads and the optispark ignition system,

10.4-1 compression, I just assumed you were talking abought the newer one.sorry abought the spelling. :D

Ok, so after more research, this is a TPI engine Now I have to figure it out if it's a 305 or 350.

Here are the pics:

Holi Canoli! the first question that comes to my mind is, where the hell are you going to SLEEP in the back of that thing???

(ps, I travel a lot and my T4R is more an off-road motor home :P )

lol, you're right man. Believe it or not, I'll be breaking down that sound system if I keep the car. I just want two subs, that's more than enough for me.
