4runner won't start

on the weekend my 01 4runner (200,000 miles) decided it didn't want to start. I was at the store and it started but then stalled when I backed up (I tired to fire it up again but it wouldn't go). I pushed it into another parking spot and waited a couple minutes and tried again and then it started and worked fine, so I drove home.

About an hour later I went to go somewhere else and again is started but it sputtered and died right away. I tired starting it again and it did the same thing 3 or 4 times (started but sputtered and died).

Since then it won't start, it'll turn over great and I did the old screw driver on the spark plug wire and I had spark. I looked at all the fuses and they all were good. So I'm guessing it's fuel related (pump, filter, electrical?) but that's just a guess.

Any suggestions???

Thanks,
Warren

i had the same thing happen to my old 4runner. It kinda pissed me off but then seemed to go away, so im guessing mine was gas as well.

Check the MAF. Ive had a couple get leaves or air filter fibers lay against the hot wire causing that exact problem. It wont throw a code so I would pull it out and look down in it really good tomake sure there isnt anything at all in there
