Think its a good combination? would the 4runner make a good zombie apocalypse vehicle? Just thought I should ask, since most of my friends are always making apocalypse plans and escape routes

Yes. Great ZRV. Tough, roomy, sexy.

Built right, best one for the job, IMHO.

Only if your Zombie Apocalypse involves lots of big guns and fake explosions and helpless heroins and a movie set. In a more real sense, the perfect post-apocalyptic vehicle is a horse. If you must have 4 wheels, get a very old and very simple pickup truck, either a diesel you can make your own fuel for or a carbed engine you can rig a gassifier to.

Think 70s and earlier.

Here's one right up that alley, Kev--Dodge M37 pickup! What a beast--like a personal size deuce-and-a-half. That'll run over a few zombies!

Where does a guy pick something like that up? Would love to have one...

We do equipment auctions as a side business, I happened across this truck at an auction. You can look on http://www.steelsoldiers.com/forum.php in the classified section, you could look on ebay, or through the site goverment liquidators. Parts are easily available, but shipping is a bit on the high side as most are pretty heavy parts. I would do some reading on steel soilders before I bought anything as these trucks come in TONS of variations.
