Hello all. As some of you know, I've been talking about some of the good deeds done with the 4WD clubs I hang out with.
One of them is WeBuilt, which meets in Loomis CA. One of the members is a vehement supporter of Disabled Sports USA, who helps all people of any disability. They asked one time 6 years back if there were some 4x4 owners if they would take some people on some trails, and thus the Disabled Sports Run on the Rubicon was born. With primarily members of the WeBuilt club, and a couple other 4x4 clubs and local business financial and volunteer help, we are starting a new traditon of sharing what we love to do with those who can not explore these trails on their own. With the big environmental push lately to close these trails to ALL members of the public, I wanted to share with you, my 4Runner family, just some of the good that off road clubs do for all people. Please support efforts to keep these trails open, and make your voice heard to the government officals and those environmental groups who are trying to block all access to these trails. They are not only a link to our heritage, but a tangible experience for future generations to see why America is great, and the land of the FREE.

Barney Riley Trail; as an example of history. Barney Riley was a well known thief. When the law caught up with him, this tree was where he breathed his last. So I'm not highjacking my own thread, I'll post other pics over in the Off road section forum.
