4Running Daily's Build Thread

Good work with the liner. Truck is looking sweet as always. I came in here looking for a pic of your coilover setting and boom there it is. Looks like you're about 7-8 threads less cranked than me. I'm sure it's in your thread but what did it take for you to get them set where you waned? I've got little work to do.

The first time I got the coilovers in, they were basically maxed out. Tons of Preload. But when ADS built these new reservoirs and lines for me, they took a quarter inch of thread preload from each side. They used a spring compressor and did it all for me haha. I have a fox spanner wrench in case I do ever have to adjust them.

I just used a piece of those cheap rubber floor mats from walmart- it's a lot cheaper

Went to Big Bear with the 4Runner crew

First things first, I always bring a 5th gen wherever I go. Also if anyone can embed this video, I'd appreciate it. I tried and failed. Every other forum will automatically embed it, but god knows the last time this forum saw any notable updates.

Wow that is a good sized group, looked like a fun run. That poor 5th gen in the video though haha.

BTW embed is like this (minus the space) using the code at the end of the URL.

You're a wizard.

you have to get the embed code from the website itself. unfortunately when your on the mobile app or site and hit the share button the embed tab does not come up. But from the full site it does. then copy and past. BTW it will not show up in a preview post but will be there when you hit the post button.

happy to help :thumb:

You just want to comment in here to remind me about you and your damn triple sticks.

Hopefully that 5th gen owner slipped you some bills for gas and tires, or is that somehow your new expedition trailer.

Wow! I remember when you were posting about high school. Makes me feel old.

Keep the updates coming. How did your recent tub job turn out?
