I have just bought 2002 4Runner grill which I will color-match. Can't wait to get rid of my grill mesh crap! Should be a fun project.

I still don't have a job, but as soon as I do, I have big plans.
33's, sliders, 3inch lift, manual hubs, aussie locker, arb locker. Big Plans, stay tuned through the boring parts.

So, I come up with a new game plan every couple weeks, and here's the current one, in order.

-Finish painting my 2002 Grill Free
-Sliders $300 + install
-Buy 16x8 wheels with 4" BS $500
-Buy OME 890's and Bilstein 5100 to get a 3inch lift $400
-33" tires $1250
-Rear Locker $700
-Front and Rear Bumpers (ODL) $1,600
-Skids $500
-Lights $1000

Still on step one of the plan above. It's cold and wet here in Escondido. Just sanding. My color match paint looks pretty good when I did a test the other night.

I honestly don't even know. I'm thinking ODL or 4xInnovations.

Can't go wrong with either one. I have Stubbs Welding sliders and they're really good quality. Similar price to ODL stuff. I'm guessing your not looking at a kickout style slider then?

Actually I like both of them, haha, so it doesn't really matter.

Well if you have a large budget and not really caring so much about how it fits with the truck look at the Stubbs Welding Rubicon DKO. I really wanna see these on a truck.
Realistically though if you like both kinds the HD-SKO like I have is kinda a semi kickout style.

Update 10/03
Not really much of an update, haven't really done anything, just driving it alot.
Hit 160,000 miles a week ago or so. Still running great.

There are some talks in my family about me getting a VW GTI when I go off to college in a year and a half. So hopefully I'm kinda 50/50 on that. More info as it comes.

I'm still jobless and broke. I still have an air compressor and no air locker. I still hate my Firestone tires with a passion.

You should check out Savage Off-Road sliders as well. He is located in Yucaipa, CA so you could save money on shipping. Roy would probably install them if you came to his shop as well. Yucaipa is close to Big Bear wheeling and Desert wheeling as well so you could make it a day if you got to his place early did the install and then headed up to the mountains. Just a thought.

Ya, I keep hearing better and better things about Savage Off-Road! Pricing seems decent as well. I should be in the market by the end of the year!





Update 11/01/12
My 4Runner is amazing. I constantly beat the crap out of it, driving so quickly that I get 14mpg on a tank, peeling out of friends drive-ways, and constantly reving the engine to hear the Borla ROAR!

Little Life Update: Ya, so money has been tight for 4Runner mods lately, being 16 and finding a job is harder then I thought. So, I'm now self employed. I founded my own iPhone Repair business! Wooh! I make decent money off repairs. So mods will begin to start up again!

Last but not least, I set off three car alarms with my Borla Muffler Halloween night.

Rear Sway Bar somehow stripped a bolt off the mount and broke. I'm just going to take it off tomorrow.
