Right on Bro!!!! That's a great climb. way to go. it is a good climb here is a perspective from the top :)

I'm at 203,400 miles now after driving to San Diego and back over the weekend.

I did pick up a 20lb CO2 tank to make my own setup for inflating tires. I only paid $10 for it, so I'm hoping to be into the setup for under $100.

Once you get the CO2 up and running, you'll wonder how you ever reinflated tires without one. Makes quick work of my 33s compared to my MV-50 compressor, so I can only imagine the difference on the 35s.

5 minutes a tire with my compressor and 45 seconds with CO2. I used a friends setup the other weekend and I can't go back.
 
I have those same LED bolts and I was going to bondo the housing then make some sort of bracket for the LED's as corner lights. Recommendations on what type of material to use?

I like these two ^ Your night photos are getting better everytime man. Night/astro photography is challenging, I still suck at it. It's really dependent on having the right lens for it (wide and fast), and post-processing.

Looks like your settings are good this time around (wide aperture, short focal length, high ISO).

Foreground objects are good for night photography. If you shine a flashlight slowly across foreground objects it can have a good effect and make things pop, especially when your dark truck is in the foreground. A bright moon like you had will make it tough, since it casts shadows on everything and makes it hard to get the stars without overexposing something else. You could use it to your advantage to light up the foreground objects for you though.

Do you shoot in RAW or jpeg?
 
The night shots are getting better. I wish I lived in an area where I could get away from light saturation so easily.

I'm sure you're using a tripod... are you using a remote to snap the shot? If not- it makes a considerable difference with the shutter speed so slow.

I cannot wait to start getting out this summer and taking some shots of my own.

Thanks! This is about an hour away from my apartment and these were all shot at about 1 am. Yes I'm using a tripod but without a remote. I ordered a Pulse (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/alpinelabs/pulse-your-camera-upgraded?ref=category_popular) off kickstarter and should have that in June allowing me to hopefully use my phone as a remote.

I'm having a blast learning new techniques!

Try shooting RAW... You'll be amazed at how much more your freedom you'll have with editing.

Editing a JPEG is like trying to modify a sandwich that has already been made. All the ingredients pressed together. You can change your turkey out for ham, but you'll lose a bit of mayo and mustard that's stuck to the turkey.

Editing a RAW file is like modifying a sandwich with all the ingredients laid out in front of you. You can change your turkey out for ham, and not make a mess. You can even ditch the mayo and mustard completely.

I use a generic remote from Amazon... it was like $10. **Edit that pulse think is pretty slick.

Just my inexperienced photographer self saying this, but couldn't you just set a timer on the camera if you don't have a remote? This is what I do, but my camera is not nearly as nice as your guys'.
