Where is the T4R.org sticker beside the emblem? Do I spy a 4th gen in the background?

I had to pay $125 a year to park in my HS parking lot. Not paved. I could spin rocks 25ft behind my Bronco. People ran, literally, when they saw me coming.
 
4Running Daily, I have a Red 2000 4Runner and I was going through all of your pictures and saw the clearcoat coming off. I am brand new to this forum but I wanted to ask; where did you go to have it re-painted and how much did it cost? Mine is peeling all over the front hood and I would really love to have it touched up if possible. Ive put 252k on it and its still going strong.

Not advertising this site for free, haha. The 4th gen is a friend of mines, it's a V6 2WD.

I'd actually be okay with parking on dirt, I could do little drifts as I left haha! I buddy of mine had a Bronco all through high-school and just sold it to buy a Jeep. :mad:

I got it repainted at a place that did a terrible job, Active Auto Collision. So don't go there. I'd probably check with some local car guys and see where they get their Hotrods painted.
 
Y'all's schools sound like they suck. My school Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores get dedicated spots for $15. Obviously seniors get first pick, then Juniors, and sophomores get whatever is left over
 
I don't even think I had to pay for a spot in high school, just had numbered spots based on seniority...then again I graduated in a class of 50 so that had something to do with it too.

Glad to see that you are back on a positive kick with your rig after its struggles. Getting my welder and knowing how to use it was the single best thing that ever happened to working on my trucks. It's night and day when you can just fab up whatever you need, whenever it's convenient for you.

I thought you said they did a good job except for the few spots they screwed up which they still fixed for free. Was it worse then you mentioned earlier?

You are correct, the part they screwed up on was the wet sanding and buffing, other then that, they did a great job. I just believe I shouldn't have to bring it back to them because they didn't do the job correctly the first time, you know?
 
Thank you....it looks like I'm gonna have to save up. I just spent 150.00 today to have a U-joint replaced. My 4runner was vibrating so bad that I couldnt hear anything else when I was driving lol. It is running smmmoooooooothly now.

You should convince your HS to sponsor a SAS considering they have enough money to pave the parking lot every year :D

For real! At my high school we paid 120 a year and they just paved it last year (a year after I graduated) for the first time in like 10 years. BUT our football team had a brand new state of the art gym. And the coach got a brand new truck every year. They said our money went to parking lot maintenance. Hmmmmm right!!!!!!

Yep well that is how it works. Damn politics one would think they would focus more on academic stuff lol
