Alright, here we go as promised. a copy of the Campaign from TIS, it explains the recall and has some answers to your questions.

If you look at Page 11, question 9a it clearly states that the customer can request a new pedal if they do not like the repaired (cut) pedal.

Also under Page 9 Question 4a, the AWFM (Allweather Floor Mats) will be removed, but a new updated version is in the works and you will be able to get replacements with proof of purchase of the original ones.

Okay, gotta go before they find me doing this, or its... :crybaby: :50cal: for me!

I wonder how I can prove that the mats came with the purchase of the truck, they threw it in for free. I don't see my pedals getting stuck, I have 1-5mm space on the right of the pedal with the obx on.

local dealer has the WeatherTech mats stock-piled: selling them for 84.95 a set

If they put it in writing somewhere or in the sales agreement it should be good enough. Could you go back to the dealership you purchased it from and ask for new ones since they sold you the vehicle?

If you still have the mats they will replace them with the new ones unless you decide to keep them (after signing a waiver). Only If you have disposed of them previously (presumably to reduce the risk of a sticking pedal) do you need a receipt in order to be reimbursed, according to the bulletin.

I believe ToyTwo is correct, for reimbursment you need to have proof of purchase, but if you have teh mats on the car I think they'll get you a new set.
