If you unplug the yaw rate sensor (funny gyro-looking thing sticking up on the fender behind the main fuse box), it will stall your engine in 10 seconds. Found this out when trying to figure out wtf is wrong with my VSC TRAC system without spending an arm and a leg. Not sure how useful it is, but, who knows?

I wonder why so many people think this. you can get a speeding ticket for going 71. why would you want to, anyways? I've found the sweet spot for max MPG's to be about 65.

Great vehicle, IMO, tranny clunk and all.

Ram, if you grease the Universal Joints and Slide Yoke(s) the clunking will go away. I just did mine at 86000 and the noise from stopping and starting went away.

So after 25 years of driving I haven't had a ticket yet driving between 1 and 10 MPH over the limit. I did get pulled over once for 11 MPH over the limit. I did not get a ticket. In fact he was super nice to me and asked me to watch my speed.

So I am going to bet that over the next 25 years I will be OK. But....thanks for your high level of concern.

Just as a general rule of thumb, i never let mi e go below 1/2 a tank. Thank GOD i dont commute anymore!! I got thru about 1/4 tank in a work week.

I think the $85 limit has something to do w using debit/credit cards. Dont it?

here's a weird secret

Ok so when you park and take the keys out of the ignition and you are waiting for your slow passenger to close the door, press the lock button on your remote and it emits this annoying beeeeeep sound until they close their door (also useful if u left a door ajar)

also if someone directly behind you has their high beams on, the rear view mirror automatically dims so it doesn't reflect their lights (turns a dark blue color)

Two weeks ago I filled up for $88.92 and then filled up yesterday for $88.63. There's no limit in Truckee, I've filled up my Malibu's 40 gallon tank for around $165 and it didn't turn off! Atleast it's better than fillin up on the lake!

Is there grease nipples for the u joints and yoke?

If you set the air conditioning/heating system to auto, it will adjust the airflow thru the different vents depending upon the outside and inside temps. Also, when it is cold outside and the car has not warmed up yet, the airflow will stay on the lowest setting till it heats up. The same but opposite when it is hot outside and hot in the car.

If you lock the truck with your fob, the doors can't be opened from the inside.
I used to joke with my friends and lock them in. Try it. I found out by accident. Knee'd the fob's lock button while I was crawling from the back to front seat and couldn't open the door. so I looked weird when I had to open the door with a fob and had it beeping. Lol.
