54k on my '04 and I've been having the brake pulse pretty bad. Pads on front and rear have plenty of wear left (surprisingly). When I had the calipers off the front recently I noticed two of the caliper pistons had rust in them. Is this the cause of all the pulsing? I see no exceptional wear or spots on the rotors that would indicate serious runout.
Sure don't want to replace calipers as I plan on selling fairly soon but I need to get rid of the pulse. If the pistons in the calipers are the culprits for pulsation, I'll probably try to rebuild the calipers.
I'm assuming the front calipers are the usual fix?
Informed input requested.
