Looks good but according to FMVSS and DOT, you cannot have clears on going down the road facing rearward. Also to note, if you are on scene, NFPA does not allow clear flashing lights to be on at all. Your best bet with those is to cancel the flash on scene and use them as just scene lights.

What?! That's ridiculous.

Here you have to yield for ALL emergency vehicles. The fire department I work for allows members at the officer level to have lights on their POVs but no one else.
How would a state not enforce yielding for ambulances and fire apparatus? I'm not saying you're wrong I'm just saying if that's the law then it needs to be changed.

Edit: Wisconsin motor vehicle law 346.195 states that you must give right of way or yield for any emergency vehicle with its lights and or sirens on. That's a condensed version of the law but that's basically what it says.

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, I just dont want a fellow friend and t4r owner getting an unnecessary ticket.

Thanks for the comments. The switches aren't anything special. As for nfpa the lights aren't for response. I've only used them when on the side of the road. Ill look into the non flash issue w the white though!

I'm looking to run some hide-aways and a whelen red/white dash mount. My problem is;
1. I can't find clear way from the cabin to under the hood.
2. how did you run your wires in the cabin from the front to the rear, I tried removing the door channel, but it feels like its about to break so I gave up.

I've since removed these lights, but hopefully this will help

1. Cabin to the hood is as easy as using the fire wall plug. If looking in the engine compartment at the fire wall the plug is on the right side.

2. I used the side channel to run my wire from front to back. I used the drivers side channel.

Thanks for the quick response. Did you use any special took to remove the plastic over the door Channel, with a screw driver it feels like I'm going to beak it off. Thanks again.

Just used my fingers. If I remember correctly the front must be pulled up before the back. The back section next to the B pillar simply slides into place and should come right out after the front portion is popped out.
