I havent yet, my friend that has the machine shop has been busy. I hope to make the brackets flat instead of how they are normally. __/----\__. If i can cut out some of the height it would make a world of difference. Much like i i turn to my left and my hair/head can hit the headliner.
In the meantime i've lowered my seat back a little farther than i usually do and its worked until i get a chance to get in the shop.
I hear you. I'me either comfortable with my head rubbing and hitting the liner -- when offroading for the first time I had sunglasses on the brim of my hat. Took a big bump, my head smacked the roof liner, and the glasses dug into my head - Ouch! As the guy above you said, there's just feet that bolt in (four in total). I'm wondering now if the only option is to get another seat that isn't so high up in its lowest position.
Every day is a constant battle of switching positions to find the "right one." I'm starting to wonder if the "right one" even exists..
If you do anything, keep us posted!
