4th Gen Hidden winch

If you are willing to share the deminisions I would like to have them.
I may be able to get one of my co workers to fab one.

Thinking of using aircraft grade aluminum.

i removed the bumper to double check everything is fine & re-tighten the bullets again if needed, thankfully everything is in good condition. i decided to take a couple of newer pics with reinforcement for you guys , enjoy.

Re-Desert fox, i took out the dimensions and will try to draw the draft and send it to you soon.

Thanks!

can you send these dimensions and build info to me as well.. i am definately gonna do this.. :bluejump:

I would love to get the specs also. A buddy has all the equipment and expertise to do this. Maybe we can produce a few extra...

I come back to this thread every so often to see if there is any news. I would appreciate the dimensions as well. Do you have any pictures with the bumper on, or better yet, winching?

What are the chances, I was just searching if one of these existed this morning before work.

Also interested in dimensions, maybe my coworkers would enjoy helping me with a side project :D

By the way, could you perhaps show images of how the 4Runner looks while using the winch? Not in actual use but maybe tie it to a tree or something just for demonstration purposes, you know?

I am currently fabricating something very similar for my wife's 4R. She wanted something very stealth that keep the full stock bumper. I will post a few pics soon after I get it fully welded and back from my powder coater. My design keeps the stock bumper but replaces the lower grill with a slotted 1/4 plate for my hawse fairlead.

That's awesome, I've been waiting on it.

They actually have it listed on their site now, $350 powdercoated, $30 extra for their lights.

the budbuilt is cool, but you can fab one for way way cheaper.. after i look at this build more closely, its actually a pretty easy fab and bolt on..

It does seem a little expensive for what it is, but I'm anxious to see some pics of the install and where it bolts on before I say that.

They're talking about the budbuilt I believe. I am really interested in this build, since I now have access to all the necessary equipment at work. If dimensions get passed around please do share guys!

Does anyone else think that two small light bars (one on each side of budbuilt's one) would look better as opposed to the ones in the picture? Idk if light bars come that small though.

You could get 2 dually sized lights or maybe a couple 6" (or maybe even 12"?) ones one each side but you'd have to get special mounts made. 7.5" lights would probably also block the holes cut to access the winch so you'd have to pop the hood to use it.

I was thinking about, supposing I were to order one, asking about getting the mounts put up top so you could mount a single bar above it. Not sure how that'd look either though.
