4th Gen Hood Blackout

I have a friend that makes hood blackouts but never made one for the 4th gen until a couple weeks ago when he used mine as the prototype. I'm loving it and thought I'd share. Top quality, easy to put on and less expensive than available anywhere else if they're even available anywhere.

He's been making my clubs stickers for the last 4 years and I can attest to the quality and durability of his stuff.

Looks good but for a lot less money you could go with flat black plasti dip and some painters tape mask off the area after it was cleaned real good and give it a dip. We used to do the same thing with flat black paint years ago:biggrin2:

Nice! I've been thinking about doing that myself, but ordered the wrong size vinyl and never got around to ordering more.

I actually even photoshopped these pics trying to decide what should be blacked out.

You need one even more binga, roof lights are great to have but the hood reflection is awful with them IMHO.

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking of, and I found this through a quick search (damn I love the forums). I know this is an old thread so, How's the durability of this been? I'd rather use vinyl then PDip, becuase of concerns with engine heat and just looking better, but don't wanna buy something that won't last long

The original post was on 7/2012 and it’s still looking good so I’d say it’s holding up quite well.
