4th Gen LED tails to Non LED tails?

So I know it's been covered 1,001 times that the 2006-09 LED tail lights can be used in the 2003-2005 non-LED models. I just wanted to confirm that 2003-05 NON-LED tail lights can be used in 2006-09 models that came with the LED tail lights.

I am trying to find someone who is willing to swap tail lights with me. I want LED OEMs and would give said person $100 in the swap. Before I start leaving notes on people's trucks in parking lots (kidding...for now), I want to make sure my lights (2004) will work fine on their trucks (2006-09)

Amazon ones I got look & work great. Can't tell any difference between these & OEM. Just as bright & great quality.

Well, I bought aftermarket LED tails and immediately changed them out last week. Thought I got a great bargain until I realized my reverse lights werent working. I have since taken them out and returned them. (gotta fix the sig) I want to know if my NON-led tails would work fine in a 2006 that has LED tails. I want to trade somebody and throw in cash. I'm trying to find someone who doesnt care if they have LEDs or not and would rather have some ca$h

Where in Philly are you? I'm in Springfield delco. Work in center city every day.

I agree that this may be an improper wiring issue. If one light wasn't working, then yes, maybe defective. But for both to not work is strange. After all, they are designed for '06-'09's, & as many of us have stated, work fine on our '03-'05's.

Will do. I'll probably run the pines again the week after. I have the LTX and they're shockingly good offroad. Hopefully I'll have my AT's and sliders by then too. :thumb:

Get the hell out of here! Looking at your build thread looks like you live on West Ave? I live on Glendale Circle. I could probably see your house if I stood on my roof. I still have the tail lights...didn't send them back yet. I'd be down to try putting them in again. If it still doesnt work I have about 25 days left to return them.

hmmmmmm tempting.... I think it looks better on silver than it would on beige though. Its hard for me to picture those on beige because so few people have dorado gold runners on here for me to sneak a peek at their mods!
