srpage said:You do not need to go to the dealer to change when the doors lock. On my 2003 I programmed the doors to lock when the car reached 12 mph which is one of the options.
The instruction are in the owners manual and it is easy to do.

This is what I did and maybe or probably I am doing something wrong.
I put the inigition in the ON Position.
Hold down the lock button and move the Shifter to anything but park. Most of the time I out it in R. The doors are locked at this point. I hold the power locks down for 5 sec. Then I put the car back into Park and shut off the engine. To test I unlock the car start it up and move the shifter to R hoping the doors will not lock, but it does.
So am I doing it all wrong ?
