When i look online i see a few aftermarket brand radiators. My stock one has developed a leak. When i search for toyota original they are showing at over $400 . is that right? my lexus radiators never ran that much. any recommendations?

stick with oem. it lasts about 150k miles. discounted cost is about $275. have local dealer match it. replace hoses and t-stat if desired.

This is what most people on this forum recommend. Looks like a fairly easy job also.

Denso 221-3117 Radiator https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0096BA11W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xnOCDbN38KAC9

Denso Radiator, new toyota thermostat and housing, and new upper and lower radiator hoses by gates for $183 shipped from amazon.
thank you for the help.

what do you mean by "discounted" cost?

there are plenty of toyota dealers that sell discounted parts online. i use "toyotapartsdelivered".

alternatively, you could source the OEM part elsewhere, outside of the dealer (won't be branded toyota; perhaps dense).

Could you post a link to "toyotapartsdelivered", this is one I have never heard of and I did an extensive search and couldn't find them?
