4th Gen Rear Seat Deconstruction

My son list not 1, but 2 pocketknives into the rear seat through the hole for the seat belt anchor.....any help on opening it up and getting it back together would be appreciated. Thanks!

Oh that's no problem? Just lift the seat bottoms up they tilt forward to make space for the folding second row.

This was my thought as well when reading initially, yeah, try flipping the seat up, you shouldn't need to deconstruct anything

Yeah it should flip something like this. This is a 2010 though.

Thanks, the pocket knives are inside the seat cushion so I need to open the bottom up. I have 4th gen which looks different than the thread you attached.

Yes, you are correct. I have a 4th gen w/3rd row and didn't realize the 2nd row was different.

I don't have the 3rd row seat, and few do. I know they flip up sideways, but I'm not certain how to open them up exactly.
