4th gen rims on 5th gen

Does anyone have any pictures of a 5th gen with the rims of a 4th gen? I got rid of the 4th gen but still have the stock limited rims. Anyone else do this? (yes, I realize that the rims are 5 years older than the car...hahaha)

Are they the 16", 17", or 18" Limited rims? The 5th Gens have the larger calipers much like the Sport/Limited 4th Gens so anything under 17" won't fit.

My favorite stock wheels on 4runners to date are the 18" wheel from the '06-'09 limited ('08-'09 urban runner) that I had! I think there is a member that put these on a 5th gen.

The factory backspace is differant , 4th gen have more BS, brings the wheel in.

Here are a few of my old 2010 LE sporting these. The other members running these are [MENTION=4925]Jeff M[/MENTION] and [MENTION=70104]MarkWalker[/MENTION]. I loved how these looked and drove but was bitten by the TRD Pro bug.

They are off a 2005 Limited. The 5 spoke 17" rims.

So they will be even more further in than my current 20s? Will I have problems with rubbing?

I just want more tire than the factory 20s. The 20s deem the 4runner useless with the stock tires. I have a set of 17s off my last 4runner so I wanted to get some 285/70s and throw them back on the 5th gen.

I would measure the backspace and check for yourself to be sure but My 2005 sport wheels had almost 1" more backspace than my 2013 wheels. I installed them with spidertrax spacers and they fit but I ened up selling them and using the wheel spacers on my stock wheels and it looks much better.

Well that's the thing, if I need to run spacers, I might as well sell the old rims and buy new ones.

Those wheels do look really good on the 5th Gen. I looked into putting some FJ wheels on my 5th gen.
