It's that time of the year again. Deers running across the highway.
Drive carefully out there. I think the animal would have still total out the 4R if you were to take out the deer. Either way it's gonna hurt.

Last Friday I took a 7 hour road trip late at night. I probably saw 75-100 doe on the side of the road, but only with my brights on. (i.e. when there was no oncoming traffic) In some areas I slowed to 10-15mph below the posted speedlimit because I was worried one was going to bolt. Thankfully they kept to the ditch.

Really glad you're ok. Its reassuring as a parent of two that the 4R did such a good job absorbing the impact.
