4th gen T-case swap

Hey there. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.
I'm looking for information about removing and replacing the T-case In my 04 4runner. Or where I can find a really good field service manual with all the info in it to remove this beast and replace it. I also want to get step by step to rebuild the T-case. y T-case has had the dreaded leak for many years and I just refilled the thing every few months. this time I let it go too long and the case is toast. I'm replacing with a 2013 Lexus full time 4wd t-case. From my research It is the same case.
I want pictures or videos that I can follow so I know I'm doing this right. from my research so far, It's pretty much a plug and play situation. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Not sure it will be plug-n-play if you're putting in an AWD t-case in place of a part-time 4WD case. First of all, no case shift lever with AWD case and no provision for one, I don't think. There are a couple of threads on here about t-case replacement, someone with more knowledge that I will chime in I'm sure.

I have an 04 V8 with AWD. I'm just replacing it with another AWD t-case from a newer Lexus. I bought the case from LKQ. Really expensive but That was my easiest option for my time constraints. I'll be putting the new T-case in today. Then I will rebuild the old one. I think I'll keep it just in case the new one starts leaking.

Ok so LKQ says that 2013 AWD, Full time AWD 4runner Tcase is the same for an 04 V8 4runner. After dropping my old case out and comparing them side by side, they look the same. The bolt pattern is the same and the actuator is the same. I saw a few posts about LKQ not know anything about the T case for the 4runner. But so far, after I stalled the new case today. She is running perfectly. 4LO shifts great, Diff lock works great, No lights on after I cleared the codes. I still am going to rebuild my old case and I'll keep it on standby for a while.
I have never done anything like this before and it turned out good so far. The rebuild will take me some time and research to get done But I think I'll be able to get it done.

I went to this website and looked up both a 2013 Limited T4R and an 2004 V8 T4R to see how the transfer cases for each compare. For both vehicles the part number is the same. There are a lot of people out there saying that V8 runners can't use a V6 T-case. Well Toyota says they can and the one I installed is working perfectly.
