I have a 2005 Toyota 4Runner sport with a small lift. I have been having a issue with on and off vibration at any speed. I just change the the front hub assemblies but that didn't solve the problem. Also there is a burning rubber smell up front. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

What kind of vibration is it? Is it a high frequency vibration that will make your hands go numb or is it more like a wobble? Can you hear it or just feel it? Was the burning rubber smell there before you replaced the bearings?

do the 3 to 9 o'clock tire shake and 6 to 12 o'clock tire shke........tells us what happens....the first one tells you you have a linkage/tierod prob

I had a vibration on my 2005 that was solved by replacing my driver side tie rod. I only had to replace my outer but replaced the inner as well. I am just about to do my passenger as well just because I want them both replaced around the same time (i'm weird like that :lmao: ).

Caliper can also be the cause. I have a frozen caliper which is about to be replaced as well haha.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: Go Big Red! (See my User Name) My rents are from Scottsbluff and still have family there and I've lived in Omaha.
