You know, it's one thing to voice an opinion and quite another to be rude for no reason. Let's see here, some guy sees a truck in a parking lot, takes a bunch of pictures, touches it to attach a note and then posts the pics with no consent. Seems cheesy right there, I'd be pissed just knowing people were touching my truck, I don't care how careful you are, don't touch other peoples stuff. Secondly, the guy is nice enough to show up here, like the note asked, and people have to post crap like, "everything else is an abortion". If you don't like his mods who really cares, nobody wants to hear your negative opinions. How does this guy feel now that he is here and a bunch of people are bashing his rig, who cares if he goes off road, obviously dropping ground clearance by over two inches was not Toyota's way of attracting the off road crowd. If you have nothing good to say why not try keeping quiet now and then.

Does the foam prevent the plate from rattling from all the bass? If so, where can i get some foam to do so.

you can use anything from styrofoam to the rubber insulation strips that people put around their door frames in houses. i found those at home depot.

brownier1679, I have to apologize for the stuff you have seen here. The site is more about the truck we all love and the mods we do. Althought not everything you have done is what I would do, I do applaud your efforts to make your truck stand out and be personal.......which is what we all like to do. ...luxury posted pics of the rig he found in an attempt to help members like you, not because he's a crazed stalker. people wonder what mods they can do, and luxury found a few for us. some like it, and some don't. that's the way it is on every forum. i like some of the mods, so thanks luxury for posting this thread.

P.S. luxury blocked out the liscence plate number also, but if the owner of that rig doesn't like his pictures being posted then he can notify the mods to take them off. a person with a rig like that should be proud to show it off, and ready to accept both positive and negative compliments.

brownier1679 - I logged on this afternoon after not checking the board all weekend (because I was out of town) to the surprise of what is going on in this thread. I hope this thread doesn't scare you off t4r.org or even annoy you. I was shocked to see all this because this forum has an incredible group of people and comments like this are rare. If you need help with posting pics, I'd be glad to walk you thru it.

pat161 - If this was your car I would certainly delete all pics and the entire thread for that matter. BUT, it seems like the owner is fine with me posting the pics. As for the note........I simply put it under the windshield wiper like we would with the T4R.ORG cards (which I didn't have any left) or anybody mobile advertiser would with a pamphlet. And based on brownier1679's reaction it sounds like he was happy to find the site because of it. I didn't touch his 4runner with anything other than a little piece of paper. As for this statement: "If you don't like his mods who really cares, nobody wants to hear your negative opinions." Well, I do. In my signature thread, of over 250 posts, I welcome negative feedback. I like to know what people don't like. It may be too late for some of my mods, but at least it will help others not repeat my same mistakes. And I want to hear the same about other trucks as well. I don't want to expand on this anymore, because I don't want to start a debate, and if it absolutely needs to be discussed more, we can start a thread dedicated to it.

Everybody - I was simply trying to share with all of you and help stimulate an interesting discussion......like about the foam and his stereo. I too am going to be installing some foam to prevent the ratttle.

I believe they are most known for handbags. Compared to Gucci? Well, I don't know very much about fashion, but I'd say they are similar, at least from a status symbol perspective. LV is probably a little higher. brownier1679, help me out, I'm totally guessing with all this.

Well, ya know, as man of the household, I let my mind rest so that i can make the important decisions...like what car to buy, whether US should attack Korea, how to achieve world peace, etc. Everything else is small and i let my girlfriend handle it.
