I wouldnt normally say anything, but.....typical Southern California POS car. 22's have no business on a 4runner. Why do people from so. cal feel the need to put big giant rims on cars and slap stickers all over it. I dont get it.

"Gee, my car only has stock 17's, i need to raise my status a few notches and throw some bling on this thing. After that i will dye my hair black, spike it up, pierce my lip and get an arm band tat. Its gonna be sick az fuk."

So, somehow the stickers that are on there to promote his website, are him trying to be cool? I also have friends that have stickers on theirs......and they get paid $$$ to have the stickers. I've got a T4R.ORG sticker on mine.....does that make me lame too? I will conceed that socal does have some superficial aspects to it; however, you are coming off a bit strong IMO. His car is unique, is related to his business, and expresses his style and taste. Many of my mods (and many other people on the forum) are purely superficial......sorry if that somehow offends you.

Stickers are fine, when they are done tastefully, his.....are not. How are those splash accents or whatever they are called promoting his website?

*Bling* is one thing but I see alot of SUV/truck/car owners sacrificing performance for the sake of looks and IMO that's tacky. 20" wheels on any truck hampers braking and handling and puts undo stress on wheels parts since they were not designed for that big of wheels.
I've talked to more than a few of my mechanic friends and they are seeing more and more wheel/axle related problems and premature wear of associated parts due to people getting carried away with oversize wheels.

It seems a vehicle has become more of a fashion statement than their owners actually worrying about reliability and performance.

It's one thing to have 18"s on a Runner vs another to have 22"s.

i like the street 4runner look. His car is more of a show car, a cruiser. For the Louis Voitton, I'm more of a fan of BurrBerry. It's like fancy plaid. But the LV seats looks great, they're done clean, awesome leather.

I like Browniers' ride, whatever he does to his ride, its done well. From the leather, wheels, to even the sticker set up. Plus, i could never hate on another 4runner unless if it brings shame to the toyota name.

whats up, just trying to add in to the positive feedback here, i LOVE the LV interior, im a big fan of the custom interiors that arent too over the top(not including price). Im not sure if LV will ever go out of style and im not sure how that affects your resale value but i imagine with all the money spent on it money isnt an issue here so let your imagination run wild and for all the haters out there, everyone has their different tastes, is not your car is it? ok then, stop whining and get back to your own 4runner. Mad props to you on your 4runner

Can't the same be said about a lift kit? They throw the suspension geometry out of factory specs. They move your center of gravity higher. Big 35" tires also hamper acceleration and braking but its "different" because its off road stuff and that is "kewler" for a 4runner? Whateva.

Modify your vehicle as YOU see fit. If Joe, Bob and Billy like that is great. If they don't like it, screw them as its your vehicle.

I agree and nice positive feedback too. Just wait till you see his detailed pics of the interior. It is really nicely done. The leather accents on the seat add a really nice touch. Hopefully he hasn't been scared off and will share his exciting setup.

I think the LV interior looks nice, even though I am not into those trendy brands. It definitely gives your 4Runner a touch of class. I know a lot of people who did their entire interior up in Gucci. I am just wondering, did you do the headliner in LV too? When my buddies did it, they did every part you can imagine. Oh, and the dual exhaust looks awsome!!

I think he did a beautiful job on his 4runner and the decals are a rolling advertisement for his business. So now he can write the whole truck along with the mod's off on his income taxes as a business expense Smart guy.

haha nice idea thai......but a similar thing happened to me when our family physician put off his family dinner to personally transport my sister to the hospital in the middle of the night in his limo. talk about dedicated!

Yes,I agree with you. Mild lifts and 18 inch wheels don't hamper performance but 8 inch lifts and 24" wheels can be dangerous and that was more my point.
I do off-road with my Runner but I'm also realistic since it's spends 90% of it's life on pavement and I plan on nothing more than 2" lift and I'll stick with my 31" tires which is only 1" bigger than stock.

If I attack a members Runner personally then I expect a little hostility but my comment was about a general person's preference for looks over performance just like 2 foot wings and 40lbs of stickers on stock Civics is also tacky.

I also think the majority of the 4th gen Runners on this board look sweet and that includes a few with even the 20" wheels but anything bigger looks goofy IMO. I wouldn't even mind 18"s on my Runner but my mod $$$ has to go other places before wheels are considered but maybe someday.
