4th Gens in the snow

No pics, but this is the first winter with mine and I'm more than pleased with the handled in the deep sloshy stuff. More to come this weekend with -18F temps. Great pictures y'all!

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas...no snow. In 2008 i moved to Colorado with a 2004 Prerunner and went through one awful winter in a 2wd truck. :doh:

Fast forward to 2009, moved back to Houston for a bit, sold the truck and got a Subaru because it did great in the snow. Went back for vacation and it did great, but never moved back. Now, 8 years in houston since then, in a 4th gen which hasn't seen snow yet.

When the garbage company says your drive needs to be 12' wide to pick up the bagster. You measure and it is 12'-3" but you haven't used your recovery equipment in 3 months.

I will have to post some more pics next time we get dumped on. I love this rig in the snow, it does great! However, It is the other idiots out there that frighten me!

No snow here in se PA yet...got the 4r end of winter this year, cant wait for some snow!!!! These pix are great!!!! Hope you guys out north and west keepVirginia th coming...I love the pix hunting for a christmas tree, that would be great! We have farms to go cut them down, but thats about it.

Saw a couple other generations dedicating specific threads to some more winter like pictures. Feel free to show all the activities your 4runner takes you too and the roads you took there. I will start with one of my favorites after driving through town after a big snowfall before the plow trucks made it out.

I live in CA, but I'm up in Portland for a job and I got to test out my snow worthiness in Tillamook Forest just yesterday. It was a blast.

It looks like Bend and the PNW are having a great start to the winter, nice!

This is a throwback, but one of my all time favorite memories. Slept in my truck while ski bum'n only to wake up to 56 inches of new overnight at Stevens Pass, WA. The snow was so deep it was as high as the door handles, and I had to crawl my way out. Dreams do come true.
