So I am new to the forums and fairly new to the 4runner family. After having a Ford Explorer from age 16 until about 3 and half months ago (20 now) I decided to get a 4runner after driving a friend of mine's a few months back. It has been one of the best decision I have ever made. I now have a 2004 Sport Edition 4.7L V8. After making my way around the forums the past week or two I have become obsessed.
In the near future I plan on doing the following:

• Plastidip factory wheels
• suspension lift
• remove factory running boards
• add rock sliders
• Roof rack and ladder
• Light bar in hood scoop
• Interior LED mods
• Add a fuse box for electronic mods
• New tires & wheels
• Add an awning for camping
• Create a storage compartment for the back
• And many more

A few of the things that were already done before I got it include:

• HID 8000k Headlight kit
• Pioneer double din touch screen radio
• Some level of tint I'm unsure what %

So the first thing I decided to do because it seemed like a quick and easy customization is to plastidip the silver factory roof rack black. Here are the photos

Hood Scoop Dip

I had a bad paint peeling problem on the hood scoop so I decided to plastidip the lips of it. I thought it was going to be too black and look weird but it is actually pretty subtle and hides the ugly peel marks
