4wd parts on a 2wd 04 t4r

I can't find anywhere that's says yes or no but will 4th gen 4wd parts bolt in under a 2wd chassis??? This is for a conversion to 4wd btw

I do believe it has been done, at least once. From what I know it is a very complicated process. The 2wd is missing a lot of the secondary support systems built into the 4wd. Since the 4wd is computer controlled to a large degree, since the VSC and other control systems function somewhat different, you may be looking at something that is too complicated.

Have you considered the easier and cheaper option? Why not sell your 2wd and then buy a 4wd option?

I've thought about it but I've had mine for a while and I've put a lot of money into maintenece to it and I would rather just keep this one... I am more than capable of doing all the work and wouldn't be hard to gather the parts just looking to see what's involved .. I looked at mysticz's thread about his conversion but it doesn't really say what bolts and what doesnt

Everything basically bolts in, the only things you will need to modify is the drive shafts.
