Has anyone else encountered this problem: My 95 4runner 4cyl drives fine on the highway with 2 wheels but if I do the same with 4wd it will pull something feirce. Heres the odd thing, it happens only half the time and then it switches sides. One second it pulls left, lets go and centers and then it pulls right. It just seems very hard to control. I have even tried it in good weather and it still feels weird. Its like trying to drive and uneven chair. Anyone have any ideas?
Maybe your truck is tracking due to the tilt of the highway. That is, if you drive on the right lane, then it tends to pull to the right...and on the left lane (passing lane), it pulls to the left. Different highways may tilt differently.
When you are in part-time 4wd, your front and rear wheels are locked together...so, it tends to exacerbate this feeling of pulling.
Of course, i could be completely wrong...if so, then sorry.
