4wd question

new owner of 97 t4r,,, i dont have ther owners manual for it,,,i have no idea on when and howe to engage 4wd,,is it on the fly shifting or do i shift to nuetyruel standing still..can anybody ,tell me if its 4 hi ,,4 lo,,,,im new with 4wd,,,,i appreciate any advice,,,also if anyone here from the bklyn area know of a good repair shop or garage mechanic to have truck tune ups or any part replacements done for a decent price,,,thanx

i appreciate the reply ,,,i got the manual on ebay...but the point of having a "brukkulyn" residentb reply on a good mechanic is to find one reliable an not just the one who happens to be on rthe corner,,,,hes the guy who just take your money an end up later with a poorly done job,,,but at least u repiled an i thank u for it happy holidays
