4X4 average fuel economy

We get anywhere from 15mpg to 22mpg. The best we ever saw was 23.1, flat road Shell unleaded and a light tail wind. 15mpg was off road mostly 4hi QuickTrip gas.

We have found out that QuickTrip gas is the most consistent gas and our average is 21.4mpg running that gas. I don't waste my time (or money) running Premium.

I really want to know who says they are getting 25mpg according to the poll LOL:lmao:

I bet the ones who voted 21+ actually have 3RZ's, I think the rest of us have 5VZ-FE's.

5vzfe here at 179k miles... 17 to 17.5 daily commuting, with occasional bumps up to 18. 20-21 on long road trips.


It's mostly stock, and on original plugs, wires and coils...

You could be getting 19-20 for your commute if you change plugs. I pulled my stock plugs at 140,000 miles and i got about a 1-1.5 mpg bump.

Probably so. That was about the average I remember when it was new...
