I have 99 sr5 Highlander just had rear diff replaced witb new gears as we'll and both front wheel bearing too. The truck sounds so beautiful than before and runs smooth when shifting into drive and reverse doesn't clunk or nothing love my truck soo much till today ugh! Tried using 4x4 make sure everything working properly and bamm problem wtf....shifted 4x4 doing like 5mph and all suddenly comes to a hold you can hear the front tires screech to a stop like if I had to all sudden stop!!! And pulled over took 4x4 off got under tbe truck didn't look like anything broken so off I went ran beautiful again smooth shifting fine didnt even pass 2 thousand rpm. Pulled over on my street and transmission in Neutral and shifted 4x4 work fine like it always did. Tried pulling away and wouldn't move like if the brakes were passed in holding the truck back wtf soo left alone took off the 4x4 and drove to my house all beautiful again like nothing wrong at all..took for a spin about half hour later nothing wrong everything working smooth and correct again loving the new smooth ride and quite since bearing and all new and good. So wtf could it be????? This is my baby hate when she doesn't run like it should any thoughts? ??
Owe also had front diff fluid replace with correct oil weight when was at the shop for front wheel bearing
