This is where I'm at right now.it went into H4 easily enough. Couldn't get 4LO to engage at all, kept flashing
I suppose it's just as well to run the actuator on pavement as long as I don't lock the center diff...
If the “4LO” (low speed four- wheel drive)
indicator light continues to blink when you
operate the four- wheel drive control
switch knob to the “H4” or “L4” position,
drive forward or backward in a short distance,
then stop the vehicle completely,
shift the automatic transmission selector
lever securely into “N” and operate the
switch knob again.
Question. Trying to get into 4LO, per the manual:
I assume this means "drive forward or backward in a short distance" while leaving the knob in the L4 position, without first switching it back to H4. This results in an audible signal which continues to sound until switching the knob back into H4 and starting the process again. Is this correct?
