4x4 Trail recommendations? Oregon eastern and coast

Hey folks

I'm taking a road trip to Northern CA and Oregon from Phoenix AZ. Any suggested 4x4 trails in Oregon along or near this route? It's not set in stone. It's just my wife and I in one vehicle. I'd also like to drive on the beach in Oregon at some point. Going to get MaxTraxII to help keep from getting stuck on the beach.

Have 3" lift and 33" BFG all terrain on '16 Trail (rear locker) and lots of 4x4 experience

Only experience I have along this route is at Tillamook State Forest outside of Portland. I did some exploring out there in Dec. last year. Pretty much all of the state forest kand in CA and OR is open to off roading and exploration. If you didn't already know, Oregon will require you to have an ATV permit to offroad. Yes, your 4Runner is a Class II ATV. The plus side is they will send you a map with your permit that has 4x4 parks listed. so you may be able to plan on visiting some of those. You can apply online (It's $10) and they will send you the permit in the mail.

Also, Looks like you'll be passing right along the Oregon Dunes Rec Area if you're into the sand.

I agree, the Tillamook State forest has tons of trials in addition to all of the forest roads. Beautiful area all through there.
Sticking closer to the route you linked, the longest stretch of beach in Oregon that is open to vehicle traffic starts in Geraheart (just north of Seaside) and runs about 10 miles up to Fort Stevens (also a fun stop to explore a shipwreck and some old military bunkers). Most of the beaches in Oregon do not allow vehicle access, but there are still some spots.
For something a little more challenging, there is Nicolai Mountain OHV Area right off highway 30.
