4xinnovations Bumper Lights

I have a 4xinnovations bumper that I'm currently trying to fit lights into the driving light holes. I see that it was meant to house a pair of rigids and is set up with just a single hole drilled into the tube for them to mount to. However many are running simply a 4in driving light and I'm curious as to how you mounted them. Any info or pictures would be very helpful.

they are not going to give much distance out of these. i had a pair like them on my 4th gen and they are not that good. they tend to light up everything around you but not that far. i am now running a pair of 3" lights on my truck and the light out of them is about the same as my high and low beams on at the same time

what kind of distance is "not good"?

I'm thinking of putting some on my bumper for hunting, driving the forest roads at night and seeing EVERYTHING!

when i say "not good" im saying i would not go 25mph with only these lights on because you can not see much past 20 feet. if you look in the photo they light up the tree at the top. they do light up everything but not that much

hmmm I wonder if its the cube that doesn't go as far. I've seen pics on this forum of light bars and other led lights that seem to throw light really far out

I'm going to be installing some PIAA 510 Fog Lights on mine when I'm ready to mount it. I've talked to PIAA about them as well, and they'll work with factory wiring. That means you can keep using the switch on your headlight stalk. No need to buy the entire kit either since you can buy them without the wiring. Just make sure you keep the 55w bulbs in them.

the a pillar lights i have do well with distance, the ones catalina34 linked to are the ones i was talking about. the ones he linked do not have any kind of reflector, only a lens on the end of each led and they are not that great

I have some generic yellow fogs off amazon right now, but the mount wouldnt work for me so I just used some black rtv silicone and theyre not going anywhere. My bumper is monstalined though which pretty much hides that theyre siliconed when looking from the front.

I'm actually about to change them out with hella 90mm high beam modules, and am worried about getting them out cuz that stuff holds so well. I'll probably do those the same way though, because it allows me to mount them closer to the front. That holes drilled too far back for my liking.
