I was just wondering what the best lift to get in a decent price range for an sr5 2015? I've heard revtec and I've heard toytec

Depends how much money you want to spend and what you want to do with it. Read the stickies at the top of the 5th gen page. There is a lot of information in there.

Okay thanks I was hoping to spend like 500 to a 1000 on the lift BC I also have to buy new tiers.

"Best lift" and "$500-1000" are mutually exclusive. I have a Revtek. Not the best, but that's what I could afford at the time and it got me started. It rides ok, but a spacer lift is not a great way to lift something. I have plans to pull it off and install a real lift before the end of the year, so in the long run I have spent extra cash unnecessarily.
Read the lift FAQ sticky and decide what works for you and your budget. Either lift it cheap and plan on replacing it with a better lift later, or save your ducats and do it properly once. Or maybe you'll install the spacer lift and decide it's all you need. Research, research, research!

Hey thanks! Yeah im just trying to fit some 33s maybe even some 35s without rub. So the revtec lift you bought, was it a suspension lift or just spacers?

You won't fit 35's without a lot of modification (modification = $$$). Stick with 33's or 285's.
That being said even 285's (33's) will still rub a little bit. If you read the stickies you can find info about the fender liner mod and the body mount chop. Just read up on it as much as you can and make an educated decision based on what suits your needs

Okay yeah that's what I was thinking, the motor would probably struggle as well.

I think the best thing you can do is estimate how often you'll be offroad driving. If you want a lift for looks then by all means do not spend a lot of money. If you want something that won't break when you really don't want it to, then I suggest you spend whatever you can afford.
I went with a Toytec 3" lift, mainly because parts break and replacing expensive parts adds up during the time you own it. Looking back I probably would have gone in for the extra $300 for Toytec Boss with the Eibach springs. But mine has held up under some pretty heavy flexing so far (though still new). Ideally I would love to be able to spend the money on a long travel system.
I must warn you that the amount of time you spend on this forum is directly proportionate to the amount of money you will spend on your rig.

It's just a spacer lift. You'll get 285/70s to fit without rubbing if you run wheels with a proper offset, some minor trimming, and a body mount chop (if you're flexing.) Not a great way to lift, but not the worst thing in the world - and definitely not performance oriented.
35s are a whole other story. Check out [MENTION=49845]marshall[/MENTION] 's build thread (search "the grey") to give you an idea of what is involved. Extensive cutting to the fenders.
Others have bastardized FJ diff drop 6" kits to fit 35s, but that is not exactly an ideal way to lift for heavy offroad use.

If you are not going to wheel it then save your money and don't lift. Throw some 275/70x17s on there and call it a day. Will give a slightly more aggressive look and still will do great on the dirt with a good set of tires. Plus you will save money. Then if you get into the wheeling, lift it and go larger tires.
