Greetings, I just bought a 1979' Toyota longbed that I am going to convert to a trailer to pull behind my 1990 4Runner. I've been looking all around but can't seem to find how to convert from 5 lug to 6 lug. The primary reason behind this is so I can have matching wheels between the two rigs. Any help would be much appreciated.
5-lug to 6-lug Conversion/Swap??

There are some companies (I don't know which ones specifically) that make wheel adapters for this type of problem. Basically it would be a plate that bolts onto the existing 5 bolt pattern, and has a six bolt set of studs to bolt the new wheel to. If you use the same wheels as on the main vehicle, these adapters will space the wheels out further than the stock ones. Do a search online for wheel adapters, you should find what you are looking for.
