5100s at 1.75 and Stacked 10mm OME Spacers in Back

I hate to be that guy, but im also planning on running 1.75 up front with longer coils in the rear. Is it possible to run 285's on pro wheels on this setup? With minimal plastic trimming. Sorry again for the hijacking. Been searching for a while now.

I think with 285s you have to worry about UCA rub. I could be wrong. I'm running 275s with this set up and no running after fender liner mod.

I have a 2104 SR5 front at 1.75" and 1.00" cornfed rear spacers. Please know that when you order 1.00" rear spacers from Cornfed, they already compensate for the drivers side lean as the drivers side spacer is 1.00" thick and the pass side spacer is more like 3/4". I have 1.5" daystar spacers and am contemplating installing to see if it makes any real difference. The next step I guess would be 1.5" SAW springs. One of the problems with the 4runner is the really soft rear springs. Note that I have stock UCA's and alignment is within specs and drives totally normal/awesome.

Trying to gather some thoughts. Will adding just a single 10mm OME trim spacer each side in the rear make any noticeable difference at all. I'm at 1.75" up front with nothing in the back and have 2 sitting in my garage. Thanks.

Spacers in the rear will raise it exactly the compressed height of the spacer. Does not get any simpler than that.

Did you ever get those 1.5" springs for rear? If so, how does it look and what springs did you get? Thanks

1.75 up front with 10mm OME in back. I'm putting rear 1.5" springs on asap. I have basically level frame with no load but put anything in the back and it's negative rake. These pics were on day of the front being lifted to 1.75" and since then the rear springs have actually settled lower.

This is a different part number then the wheelers t12 SAw coils. Did you get a true 1.5" lift as we all know the wheelers version nets closer to 2"

I went off of the toytec part number. I think it's probably like 2" but they haven't settled yet. I've only driven like 20 miles since install. I did leave the 10mm spacer on the drivers side spring to fix the lean so that side looks to be about 2" difference. I didn't measure before unfortunately.

Not sure if this qualifies as "reviving" a thread 3 months from last post but here it goes anyway.

@ Haydenatx - I could have missed this, but did you also install billies in the back or keep stock shocks with the SAWs? I would think that with 2" of lift with coils they'd be at their threshold.

Debating if I should go spacers (1" cornfed or OME 10mm combo) or go straight to coils. If the latter, am I able to keep stock shocks and/or is it worth upgrading to 5100s. I'd be curious to see if ride quality improves with coils only (in combination with 5100's in front set at 1.75")

My goal is to improve ride quality on/off road, lose the "nose dive", and as a bonus, get a mild lift. Currently have 255/75/17 Cooper ST Maxx.

Thanks

You will want Billies all around if you wanna go up 2" in the rear. You would be pushing the stock shocks to their limit. I have Billies all around and a Toytec 2.5" lift and the Bilsteins make all the difference. If it were me, I would go straight to coils as you will end up there before too long anyway. If I remember right, in my dialog with Hayden, he has Billies all around also. I've been wrong once before though.

I posted these in a previous thread. I've got Bilstein 5100s with the front adjustables set to 1.75" and a pair of stacked 10mm OME trim spacers on each rear coil.

Cowtown did your rear kina seem noisy at just really slow speeds over small bumps? I just did your exact setup and have checked everything multiple times but the rear seems quite noisy on slow small bumps. If im going fast everything is really quiet. Not sure if it has to do with the valving of the 5100s or what. The rear is tow OME 10mm apacers, bumpstop then coil. Spacers sit against the frame. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
