5100's at .85 with 1/4" top plate spacers or 1.75"?

Hello,
My wife & I purchased a 2016 Trail 1 week ago. I installed (4) GY Duratracs LT265/70R17's "C" Rated & I am looking to do a mild lift.

I have a 2" rake (top of fender to ground) & a 1" rake (body/chassis) to ground. I want to minimize the rake & the "floaty" feeling of the suspension. I am definitely going with all 4 5100's. I have them on my PreRunner & I know how they perform so that will definitley firm up the ride. We also have 4" oval steps on the way (my wife needs steps).

I have been searching for a few days here & have not found the particular set-up that I am considering & yes, I did Google this.
I am on the fence about:

Front: 5100's @ .85 & 1/4" ToyTec top plate spacers (about 1.25" lift).
Rear: stock height.

Or

Front: 5100's @ 1.75 (no top plate spacers).
Rear: 1" coil spring spacer lift.

Also, this being my 1st 4WD I am concerned about driveline vibe issues though I've noticed that they are almost non-existent in these vehicles. I have found more cases of that with the 4WD Tacomas vs 4WD 4Runners.

Any info (PICS would be awesome as well) regarding this will be greatly appreciated.

I have the trd bilsteins. Here is what i did with excellent results. Used 1/4 spacer at the top of the shock and a larger spacer as tthe lower spring base preloading the spring. Worked out very well for me.

Rear went with a spring upgrade.

If you want to level the truck though. Go with just a 1/4 front spacer and you would be done with it. Want any sort of lift and would also give room for as in mine 285/70r17 go with the front as described but use updated springs in the rear not spacers.

My kit is made by Toytec.

Otherwise, seriously take a lok at the Icon stage 1 suspension upgrade. I had this on my FJ the ride is excellent. And it will do everything you want as well as givng you exactly adjustability on the front for hoe you would like to set it up. As well as adjust for changes, ie front bumper.

Any info as to which lift option you chose for the 4runner? I too was considering the 5100 @ .85 & 1/4" spacer route.
