5100's at standard height with FJ springs? Can't do it?

I wanted to keep my 5100's at standard height and tech doing install said it's not possible because the shock post does not allow it to be tightened enough at the upper control arm? Is that the case? Since I had issues with this install I wanted to check to make sure what he's saying is known to be true? I know most put them at .85, but if you can't put them at standard with FJ springs people need to know this out here. So the front are at .85 and rear are standard 5100's with fj springs. It did "level" the ride, but I was still hoping for some of the factory rake. I'm worried that the rear may settle causing a reverse rake eventually.

I am wanting to upgrade to this set up to achieve a more firm ride but not necessarily change the ride height. I read through this post and it sounds like your mechanic may not have been using the best methods (possibly not using a spring compressor) and from what people said the stock 0 setting should work with FJ coils.

Actually I ended up leaving it at the level out setting for mine and it looks good and rides much better than XREAS. I do not remember the exact setting, but it was one notch above the standard setting. You will get wed to it and soon will like it even more than the rake look with standard suspension. Just an FYI, if anyone is looking at this threat for search purpose.

You should be able to use the "0" setting on the Fj, stock, or any coils designed for your 4r.
As I have the ome coils that add 3" lift by themselves and they recommend a 0 setting.
All springs have to be compressed to be fitted on these struts.
