Sorry I will post better pics when i learn how to edit with this mac. Waiting on a better intall kit. The one originally used here is a generic cheapy the audio shop used. Make sure you get that when you have it installed, you can special order from any audio shop.

looks great, the screen looks a lot bigger then the 5500/6600 even thought its only a .5" differences. where did you mount the gps antenna? by the way how much you paid for the unit? the best price i see on ebay is $1250 shipped.

you can actually just see the top of the GPS antennea on the left of the dash, all the way to the left, looks like a little tiny tiny grey mark just on the dash line. kinda hard to see. As far as price goes, I paid $1500 for 5510, intall, and bluetooth so not too bad, but i could have done the install myself however the truck is brand new and i didnt want that in my hands!! You should check cardomain.com for prices, they usually beat all other prices. Make sure you get the double din intall kit that fits that truck, I have the model # if needed. I'll post more pics later

Nice Install! I'm going to install this exact unit in my '04 Sport. Any suggestions, advice etc? Did you replace all the speakers and amp as well?

I didnt do the install, but i would highly recommend getting the double DIN install kit for toyota cars. Its a special order from any auto electronic place. Im still waiting??!?! I'll post more pics 2mar.

I added a pioneer double dinw/ nav bluetooth the works... now the radio reception sucks, any ideas? I'm thinking about adding a new antennea but don't know if its worth the hassle. Anyone else have this happen?

The 4Runner uses a diversity antenna...if I remember correctly, there are 2 connections that need to be made or an adapter is needed.

I ended up installing the Kenwood DNX7100 and had no antenna issues that I can remember.

after install of the eclipse 6620 in my 07 limited the radio reception has always been sucky, but i listen to the ipod all day because i cant stand commercials, so its not a loss to me

Looks great, I've been waiting to install mine. Not sure why maybe just being lazy, haha.
