5GEN: AT Tires/sizes with no lift or a level

I've searched for a few hours and mainly finding info for tires with lifts. Got a 2015 Trail and want to get some SCS Stealth six 17" wheels. I do not want to do a lift, maybe just to level and use bilstein 5100s adjusted to 1.75" on standard suspension.

Anyways, I"m used to sports car mods and I'm not looking to off road a ton. Is going to be a work/travel truck that hauls equipment etc so lots of highway miles. But, I still want it too look good.

So, should I just stick with some 265/70/17s or maybe even 255? I see that is popular right now. It's kind of hit or miss on the 255or265/75 on if it will not rub on stock suspension. I'll probably be sticking with some sort of Cooper Discoverer wheel model.

Thanks for any help. Like I said most of the searches are about tires with lift and I do not want to do a 3"+ lift and I'm tired of searching and reading now.

Not sure where you searched but this is one of the stickies in the 5th gen section and the first link shows stock vehicle tire fitment.

I plan on putting stock size 265/70/17 LTX AT2 on when these factory installed Dunlops wear out.
