the first time I took my truck out I found out about this whole traction control on this thing! So of couse I was not happy, so I did the andy mod, like every one has done. I still was not happy with the toggle switch in my dash

So I bought a factory vsc off switch and put it in!!!

I just put the ground from the trac system to the 87 and 87a and grounded the the 85 post and a power wire through the vsc off switch to the 86 post. So when you hold the switch down it breaks the ground, then when you let go it will reset. so it will always be connected so every time you restart your truck it will go back to being on!

Do you have the part # for the switch or the year and model?

Is this for the AndyMod2 breaking the red with black strip wire?

Can you explain the relay hook ups for the wiring challenged a little better?

Thanks!

No, this is the original one were you just put a toggle switch to break the ground wire, and it will turn off trac, vsv, and abs. The 2.0 will let you turn off trac and vsv with out turing off abs. This is breaking the red wire and putting a relay in, then a switch to switch the relay, so you can use the momentary switch to break the circuit.
For the part number, not sure I think it was from a 97 ish Camry. I just searched ebay and Amazon for one from a toyota, there like 10-20 dollers.

so when you cut the red wire and put more wire one one side you run this wire to the #87 post on the relay and then the #87a run that wire to the other end of the red wire that you cut first. then the # 85 post you need to run to a ground and then you need to find some were to steel power from and run the power to the switch and the other wire from the switch to the #86 post. when you look at the relay it will have a diagram on it and all the post have numbers on them. I hope this helps!

You can use it with that too! Just were ever you are going to put a toggle switch in you just need to put it to the relay like I explained for the red wire!

You should post a write up using this switch, did you have to get the harness to for this switch? How did you connect the wires to the switch was there prongs or small pins
